"Santa Claus," the Philco Brothers (self-issued)

Sorry about the dearth of posting over the past few days; this usually happens when I hit crunch time on the final production of the annual Mistletunes mix disc. (For newcomers, previous years' discs are featured in the left sidebar.) First pilot copies are made, and now I've got to be away from the computer for a couple of days. I'm holding out on you in regard to a few singles and albums, including such stuff as the new holiday collections from Indiecator and Suburban Sprawl, something from The Pocket Gods "and friends," singles from such folks as the Hollyberries and the Click Beetles, and a Jack Black cover of a classic rock Christmas duet. You'll hear more about that next week, and around that time the 2010 disc will be added to the left sidebar. In the meantime, just so you can't say I didn't bring you anything for the third Sunday of Advent, here's the Philco Brothers on video with a fairly authentic cover of the Sonics' classic "Santa Claus."
