The title song starts out sounding like it's going to be a cover of "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)," but it quickly jumps up to speed as a kind of mashup of Madness and The Buzzcocks. The latter band's influence dominates on both "Xmas In Motherwell" and "Christmas Is Over," the latter rocking a kazoo solo.
