This site does not certify itself to be 100 percent authoritative, but we'd sure like it to be that way when it grows up. Rock 'n roll is a subjective thing, we realize, but we're keeping the definition as wide open as it can be. Click on the Statement of Purpose for more.

Thanks to everybody who has stopped by the site this past year and in previous years. We had quite a busy time in 2008, as anybody who scrolled from the top to the bottom of Recent Releases can testify. Now that we've put Christmas '08 well behind us, I'm planning to make some changes to this site, so consider this a combination warning that the familiar site will likely be replaced by something unfamiliar and incomplete, along with a reassurance that the site will still be here for next Christmas and hopefully quite a few from then on.

Graph Jam has a diagram of Christmas song quality. Check out the Philco Brothers on YouTube performing the Dogmatics "Christmas Time." Speaking of YouTube, we're remiss in not having Amy Winehouse's "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" up sooner.

While you're here, sniff around the other menus for the oldies but still goodies. And enjoy the holidays, every last one of them. Declare a few of your own if necessary. Note the iTunes and Amazon links at right and feel free to use them. Oh, and one more thing: Merry Christmas!
