The Brigadier is Welsh singer-songwriter Matt Williams, who wrote, performed and produced this six-song EP for 2007. It's fairly mellow but lo-fi pop-rock straight across all six cuts, with a fair number of holiday touches. Most songs are mid-tempo except for the disc-ender "Yule Lullaby," which is a more solemn instrumental.
