"Things We Don't Need Anymore," Jenny Owen Youngs (Nettwerk)

This is a snappy little rocker from somebody I hadn't heard of before this, with a story of a relationship going south in time for Christmas 2007. "Here's to wishes that'll never come true," indeed. A bit of holiday anti-cheer for those who need to cry in their eggnog. A great mix disc change-up, though one should be warned before tracking down this Jersey girl's non-holiday work, which sometimes carries a Parental Advisory warning.
