"Rock 'n Roll Christmas," The Connection (self-issued)

connection.jpgA very Ramones-inspired band, although a little more poppy, this 2012 single is high-energy power pop about wanting records for Christmas, as opposed to CDs or an iTunes gift card. In fact, the vocalist bears a sonic resemblance to Joey Ramone. Just to underline the point, they cover "Merry Christmas (I Don't Want to Fight Tonight)" on the B-side. Good stuff.
