A little backscratching in this spot

Gareth Jones, British DJ and host of the Radio Radio Podcast, once did ol' Rudolph a solid by including him in one of his special all-singing, all-dancing Christmas podcasts. That was a few years ago, but Gareth's still at it, so make sure you add him to your list of Christmas-music-related things to do this year. He's got some fine Christmas novelties cued up, but even better, he's interviewing Piney Gir, who's been mentioned here a number of times for some fine alt-pop Christmas melodies, and there will be a good sampling of the group's work. Also interviewed is Kid Carpet, described by Gareth as a UK punk-pop comedy artist, sounds like somebody we should know more about.
